Gamma Alpha Chapter of Beta Theta Pi has 17 members who come from all walks of life. Betas excel both nationally and on the USD campus. Gamma Alpha is second to none in a variety of areas. Betas excel in academics, philanthropy, leadership roles, and athletics.

The Beta House structure is also second to none with a newly refurbished computer lab, sand volleyball court, and spacious deck. Additionally all of the  personal rooms have been completely redone and a new game room, conference room, and multimedia room have been added in the basement. The Men of Gamma Alpha also participate in numerous social functions with other USD fraternities and sororities both on and off campus, including the annual Strollers Show.

The past year was full of challenges and rewards for the men of Gamma Alpha. Being just over a year removed from our chapter’s reorganization the men of Gamma Alpha are making extraordinary strides. We have more than doubled the size of our chapter in the past year and look forward to another great recruitment effort this fall. With the redoubled efforts of our active chapter members and our alumni the Gamma Alpha chapter is poised to once again be the preeminent fraternity at USD.
