H. Lauren Lewis Pledge Scholarships: $500.00
*Funded by: The Lewis family up to 2500.00. In the event more than five qualify, selection will be by highest GPA.
*Awarded Winter Semester
*Criteria: All pledges who earn a 3.0 or better first semester and become initiates in the chapter, automatically receive a 500.00 scholarship.

Son of the Stars: $500.00
*Funded by: Beta Theta Pi Endowment
*Announced at Awards Dinner
*Nominated and Chosen by Committee of Chapter Councelor’s choosing
*Criteria: This  NEWLY INITIATED MAMBER should maintain a 2.5 or above GPA.
This scholarship recognizes the fall pledge class member who has shown scholarship and strong contribution to community service and leadership skills within the chapter and on campus.

Beta Wooglin Scholarship: 500.00
*Funded by: Beta Theta Pi Endowment
* Announced at Awards Dinner
*Nominated and Chosen by Committee of Chapter Counselor’s choosing
*Criteria: This Beta pledge or new initiate shows strong skills in balancing his scholastic and extra curricular schedule while putting emphasis in growing the chapter.

Oliver Edwin Sweet Leadership Award: $1000.00 (UP and Coming)
*Funded by: Belbas Cash account
* Announced at Awards Dinner
*Nominated and Chosen by a Committee of Chapter Counselor’s choosing
*This initiated Beta is a proven leader in the chapter, on campus and at the General fraternity. He has attended leadership conferences and/or institutes and models the Men of Principle beliefs. He identifies other Betas and brings them into the chapter.

Gamma Alpha Brotherhood Scholarship: $500.00
*Funded by: Beta Theta Pi Endowment Scholarship
* Announced at Awards Dinner
*Nominated and Chosen by General Membership with advice and consent of Chapter Councelor
This Scholarship recognizes the active member who has a solid GPA and shows genuine concern for his fellow brothers. This Beta goes out of his way to nurture other members whether it is through emotional or academic support. He leads through example and is looked up to for his ability to resolve problems.

 Gamma Alpha Dragon Scholarship: 500.00

* Announced at Awards Dinner
*Nominated and Chosen by a Committee of Chapter Councelor’s choosing
This Beta maintains a strong connection for Beta with both the College community and the Vermillion community through philanthropy and community events. He is the PR for the Beta fraternity and keeps Beta in a positive spotlight in press opportunities, sports affiliation, IFC, government, school organizations and others.

H. Lauren Lewis Memorial Scholarship- $1000.00
*Funded by: John and Jan Thietje
*Nominees are selected by the Chapter Councelor and Chapter President using the following criteria:
A cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above
Demonstrates leadership ability and recruits!
Active in community service projects
Involved in other campus organizations
*The recipient is announced at the Spring Awards dinner
This scholarship is awarded to the member who excels in scholarship, lore, citizenship and is in good standing with the fraternity.

The Robert Clough Memorial Endowment Scholarship: $1000.00
*Funded by:  Robert Clough Endowment Fund at Beta Theta Pi General Fraternity
*Awarded through application process at the General Fraternity each spring.
*Criteria: Applicants are evaluated on academics, community service, chapter involvement, and leadership skills.

 Recruitment through Scholarship:  $500.00
*Funded by The General Fraternity and various Alumni
*Awarded by a panel of Judges through an interview and application process
*Must be a first semester undergrad at the U and may be a transfer student
*Two or more can be given annually in the fall after Recruitment week
