Beta Theta Pi is a not a frat, it is a fraternity. This is what the men of Beta Theta Pi at The University of South Dakota believe. With a rich history and tradition here on campus and nationally, we are also looking for many years to come. We believe in building men of principle for a principled life. Beta Theta Pi is involved all over campus and we accomplish great things through leadership, dedication to the community and living by our principles.
Last fall ΒΘΠ had a pledge class of 12 pledges. Those young men made an excellent choice for their future because ΒΘΠ is known campus wide as the leadership fraternity. Not only do we provide excellent programs to develop leadership, but we also exult in brotherhood.
Each year the administrative office in Oxford, Ohio of ΒΘΠ offers numerous events designed to develop young men into principled leaders. This year alone we have attended leadership conferences in Oxford Ohio, Chicago Illinois and Charlotte, NC. The skills and experiences that you accumulate during these leadership conferences are lifelong and will be something you will not ever forget.
Locally, ΒΘΠ holds multiple philanthropic events with sororities and other fraternities allowing us to give back to the community of Vermillion. Additionally, many brotherhood events are held which foster strengthening the bonds of friendship between fellow members of ΒΘΠ.
The men of ΒΘΠ work hard on our campus. We have people pursuing a wide variety of major fields of study at USD. This allows us to have a solid resource in helping each other with course work. Our members are involved in many campus organizations including rugby, Intra-Fraternity Council, Student Government Association, intra-mural athletics, Pre-Med club and many more.
 ΒΘΠ is the best place to be at USD. We exhibit quality men who excel during and after college. We look forward to meeting you this fall at 429 N.
